Dawn was born and raised in Michigan, making many trips to Jamestown, New York.  After graduation she moved to Florida and joined the Navy.  I traveled to several countries while living in Italy.  I transplanted to Washington 1996, where I met and married my wonderful husband, Ron.  We have two fabulous children, Chelsi and Lance.  We enjoy playing soccer, football, ski/snowboarding, and just spending time together as a family.

Michelle grew up in Yamhill, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1989. I moved to Kitsap county in 1990 where I started my first public accounting job. I have been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993 and joined Dawn Jake in 2004 to start our own firm. My husband, Bernard, and I have two sons, Justin and Dylan. I enjoy boating, reading, and watching the kids play soccer.

Rachel was born in Idaho, and lived in Alaska and returned to Idaho before moving to Washington in 1988.  She is happily married to Jeremiah and they have three children Luke, Isaac, and Hannah.  Rachel worked in retail for 15 years before returning to college to finish her bachelor degree.  She loves to scrapbook, sew, play tennis, go camping, and just hang out with her family.

Diana is an only child, born in Mangum, Oklahoma. At the age of five, her family moved to Odessa, Texas, where she lived through her high school years. After a few years in El Paso, Diana moved to Denver where she met her second husband, Jim. The Coleman's combined their two families into one "Brady Bunch" family with seven children. When five of the children had left the nest, Diana, Jim, and the two remaining kids moved to California where they bought a 42' sail boat and left work and land behind for three years. When they returned to the real world the Coleman's settled in Washington State. After a number of years of working, Diana and her husband took another break from the real world. They traveled in their motor home visiting all the lower 48 states and parts of Canada (18,000 miles), before coming back again to Washington. Diana's family now includes 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Before coming to Peterson & Jake, CPA Inc. Diana was a General Manager for General Growth Properties. Diana had the opportunity to travel extensively and control the management of four different Shopping Centers. Prior to mall management Diana was the accounting manager for three Seattle based freight forwarders. She has completed General Growth Properties Emerging Manager Program and the International Council of Shopping Centers Management Institute. Diana attended the University of Colorado, Orange Coast College, Cal State Fullerton, and the University of Washington. She holds a real estate license in Colorado and Washington. While an employee of General Growth Properties Diana was awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award, "Driving the Business"; and a Leasing award, "Highest Percentage Increase."

Tami grew up in Michigan. She has traveled and lived in several parts of the country. She moved from Michigan to western New York to Florida to Austin Texas, to the Pacific North West. Her last stop before moving back here was eight years in Sweet, Idaho which is about an hour North of Boise.

She enjoys traveling and just about anything in the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hiking. Her career up to this point has always been in the hospitality industry. She enjoys working here at Peterson & Jake and is currently furthering her education at OC.

Tami is also dating a wonderful man, Ken Smith.
